Three Simple Tips to Help You Find the Perfect Plus Size Fairy Costume

It is hard enough trying to find a costume let alone one that fits a woman with a few curves. What we are going to talk about here are the three areas you need to watch out for when searching for a plus size fairy costume. These are simple tips that will help you save money and aid in searching for the right costume that will fit your body type and personality.

1) Price

Just because a costume is labeled plus size the costume should not be double the price. Often times certain stores and websites may raise their prices on plus size costumes. They see it as a specialty item, instead of a mainstream costume made for the Halloween or the year around market. It is Ok to pay a little more, but double or triple the price is not worth your hard earned money. You may notice that no matter where you find your costume it may be a little more expensive than the smaller sizes and that is OK. Keep in mind that these costumes are designed especially for your body type, because the smaller costumes are made pretty much all the same. You are basically buying a customized piece of clothing.

2) Sexiness of the costume

Contrary to popular belief, plus size costumes are some of the sexiest for Halloween or for that matter for any event or special occasion. While smaller costumes are just made to fit a more narrow frame, plus size costumes are made to enhance those areas of the woman who are considered pleasing the eye. They enhance what a curvy woman has and add just the right sensual touch to the holiday evening. For those that are a little self-conscious about wearing one of these costumes, all it takes is to try one on to see how nice it will make you look.

3) Availability

How hard are they to find? It all depends what part of the world you live in, but for most western countries, they can easily be found through a quick search through the internet. Web stores usually have a better choice in styles, sizes and colors. Most Halloween superstores or retail stores in general only carry what they think they can sell. Sizes are often limited. This is not the case with online retail stores. Most are year around and stock high levels of inventory for any time of the year. The higher inventory also makes them a lot less expensive than a regular retail store. Since they buy larger quantities, they get a bigger discount in cost which is passed on to the costumer.
